Ave Maria Recognized at the 2024 Sand Dollar Awards
NAPLES, FL., – October 14, 2024 – Ave Maria, the award-winning community known for its “Big Kind of Small Town” atmosphere and top-notch amenities, has once again been honored with multiple Sand Dollar Awards by the Collier Building Industry Association. This year, Ave Maria and its developer, Barron Collier Companies, took home the Community of the Year award in the under $500,000 category, Best Brochure, Best Social Media Marketing and Best Special Event. The marketing efforts behind these awards reflect the company’s commitment to growing a thriving and engaging community for its residents.
Barron Collier Companies marketing & public relations manager, Michelle Mambuca, was also recognized for her outstanding contributions with the Marketing Director of the Year award. Her dedication and expertise have played a significant role in showcasing Ave Maria’s unique qualities and attracting new residents.

The award-winning brochure and social media efforts capture these stories, inviting prospective residents to experience Ave Maria firsthand.
Furthermore, the Taste of Ave event, which received the Best Special Event Sand Dollar Award, showcases the community’s diverse offerings, including local businesses, dining options, and community activities. This event serves as an annual testament to the strong sense of partnership and involvement that exists within Ave Maria. The 2025 event is scheduled for February 1.
