A Summer Season of Fun Festivities
Ave Maria has had an exciting summer filled with memorable business and resident-organized events that brought the community together. From patriotic celebrations to Town Center events and lively cultural festivals, this summer was a showcase of local spirit and fun.
In June, the inaugural Ave Caribbean Fest was an endless celebration of islander culture and heritage. Locals and visitors danced to tropical tunes, perused an array of vendor booths showcasing a mix of arts, crafts, and other unique wares from local artisans and small businesses, and enjoyed an abundance of mouthwatering authentic cuisine.
Residents made a big splash on the Fourth of July at the Water Park, organized by the Ave Maria Master Association (AMMA). Families enjoyed a red, white, and blue day of fun under the sun with exciting water activities like the water slides and splash zones, bringing everyone together in celebration of America’s independence.
The holiday spirit was in full swing with the annual Christmas in July merchant event. The occasion highlighted local businesses showcasing their holiday-themed products and special offerings. The event was decorated with holiday-themed decor, creating a cheerful atmosphere that put everyone in the Christmas spirit. Attendees enjoyed music, special discounts and giveaways, plus the chance to get a head start on their holiday shopping. It was a charming reminder of the joy and warmth of the giving season, even in the middle of summer.
As we look back on these summer events, Ave Maria continues to be a hub of community spirit and celebration. Get ready for our Back to School Bash happening on August 17, and our annual Trunk or Treat on October 26. Here’s to more memorable moments in the seasons to come!
