NEW MOBILE URGENT CARE SERVICE LAUNCHES IN AVE MARIA
NAPLES, FL – December 18, 2023 – Dr. Emily Walkey and Little Flower Pediatrics, a pediatric direct primary care clinic in the Ave Maria Town Center, announces a new mobile urgent care service for patients of all ages. Little Flower Mobile Clinic is available to Ave Maria residents covering minor injury, immunization, physical evaluation, sudden illness or a routine check-up. Dr. Walkey has hired Rose Dobrydney, ARNP, a nurse practitioner with over 20 years of family practice experience, to oversee the mobile urgent care unit serving both children and adults.
Patients may go online and self-schedule an appointment for services that include treatment for cold/flu symptoms, severe vomiting, urinary tract infections, sore throats, abdominal pain, headache/migraine treatment, and simple laceration repairs. In addition, a variety of physicals are offered and phlebotomy for outside lab orders. The cost for a visit varies depending on the service from $50 to approximately $160. “Bringing this new, mobile service to the town offers a convenient way to take care of your medical needs. Ave Maria is a truly unique community filled with love, community support, and respectfulness. I cannot imagine living and working anywhere else,” said Dr. Walkey, founder of Little Flower Pediatrics.
Little Flower Pediatrics was founded in 2022 as a pediatric direct primary care clinic. In direct primary care (otherwise known as DPC), the physician works directly with her patients, rather than working for/with an insurance company. As a DPC physician, Dr. Walkey prides herself on providing high quality care at an affordable price. In her practice, she can have extended visit times (30-90 minutes versus 10-20 min in a traditional practice), perform multiple visit types at a time, focus on preventative medicine, and refer less often to specialists because she spends significant time to find the root cause of her patient’s symptoms.
